A looming (poem #443)
a looming echo, the sounds
murmuring together
with the rivers babble.
a blue jays feather, electric
and dark discarded on
the pine needles.

cloud glides (poem #442)
a golden dream, the air
listless and sweet,
a drifting word,
the mind releases,
a cloud glides
smoothly across
the pale blue
surface of the sky.

whisper of fall (poem #441)
Sun trickles down the hills,
the air is changing, and I can
feel the whisper of fall crisply
in my ears. The world spins a
little faster, and time begins to
swim away, the new year
getting closer.
Thank you for reading!

Raindrops (poem #440)
In the night, the trees shake
the wind dancing on the leaves.
A quiet murmur, the hoot of an
owl and the scurring sound
of a mouse in the grass. The clouds
gather, and a low grumble of thunder
causes a few to wake and wonder.
The sounds of pattering raindrops
dancing on the leaves echo through
the air, a quiet hush.
