Words drip like ice
and fall onto your skin
so cold, it burns until
blue skin, blue limbs
begin to rot off.

The space turns around us and eyes look cold in the night,
how do we crumble and devour each other in these ways?
That leaves us empty and longing for more, a desire
that will never be fulfilled completely.
Thank you for reading my writing! I hope you will return in the future!

The sun peaks out and the snow has melted
already water in the gutter, tricking me
into believing there may be an early spring
even though I know it is too soon to
think of that. Despising the cold,
and drifting away into a winter melancholy.
I wait for time to pass, and warmth to return.
Thank you for reading my work! I hope you will return in the future!

Stuck in a time
where nothing matters
my lips are sealed shut
with laws that bind
me to an early grave
of the mind, soul, and body.
Do I struggle to break free?
To stand up and say something?
Do I dare?
