dreams swallow
into brain, swim through
capillaries, into, neurons
into cell, dreaming
Is there a world to
find? The eyes, close,
mouth open, smile,
gnarling pearls inside
tongue pink and warm
holding, dreaming words
yet spoken into creation.

skin pressed cold
against another, open
door, open heart and
exude a sense of
presence, a sense of death
eyes wide, you tremble.
across the expanse
scan for any and all
lifeforms, result, negative
result, rock, result, dirt,
result ice
the world in
the realms of
the night,
the realms of
the living,
keeping
a revolving
sphere on
its axis, so
ready to
fall off.
